Person In Charge - Disability Services - Galway

Galway, County Galway € 54,444 - € 63,980 a year - Permanent, Full-time Job Description Role Overview The Person in Charge (PIC) is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery and day-to-day operation of services within a designated centre, supporting adults within a residential and short break respite service. The role includes ensuring that services are delivered in compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and all relevant legislation, including the Health Act 2007 and HIQA standards. The PIC will also take full responsibility for the governance of the designated centre, including financial oversight and operational management, ensuring services are delivered within approved budgets. Director of Quality, Compliance and Nursing - Galway

Galway, County Galway €78,945 - €96,749 a year - Permanent, Full-time Director of Quality, Compliance and Nursing Purpose of the Role The organisation is seeking a Director of Quality, Compliance and Nursing to guide service delivery in a complex and evolving environment. This leadership role will shape strategic direction and drive a progressive vision for personalised, rights-based, community-focused supports. Key Duties Quality, Compliance & Service Improvement · Lead the ongoing development of the Quality and Service Improvement function, including the creation and maintenance of an integrated quality and compliance management system aligned with national standards and all relevant regulatory requirements. · Foster a culture that supports positive risk-taking within a person-centred, self-directed model of support, ensuring that the priorities, rights, will and preferences of individuals remain central. Culture and Strategy · Contribute to organisational strategy to ensure that quality, compliance and risk management are embedded across all service delivery. · Strengthen and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Governance · Develop and support governance structures that oversee quality and compliance, including relevant committees such as the Quality Committee. · Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the oversight of safe, effective nursing care across the organisation.
